Founded by VS Lingam and registered in Singapore with ACRA (Reg #: 52993277J) in May 2003, Symmetrix Solutionz ® is in the business of providing creative cost-competitive solutions to accounting and telecom challenges.

It has successfully implemented low-cost high-value accounting solutions in several construction and trading companies. These companies now have reported greater operating efficiencies and cost savings. Their management is now able to view accurate financial state-of-health of their companies (in real time) and make prudent decisions.

Though the founder of Symmetrix Solutionz ® has extensive prior experience in the telecom industry, he has re-invented himself and diversified into other businesses including construction, accounting, software consultancy and education. This prompted the formation of Symmetrix Solutionz.

The most recent period from Sep-2002 to Nov-2021 saw Lingam as Trainer/Administrator at Singapore Institute of Science. He was responsible for the teaching of Physics at "O" and "A" levels. He secured the CaseTrust for Education certification for the school. He also set up the office LAN and the school's initial website.

The period Sep-1999 thru Aug-2002 saw Lingam as an equity-partner in a startup company Ficom Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd. As the Project Manager, he successfully managed and implemented a multi-million dollar optic fibre network installation project for a major local telecom company. The project was a financial success which yielded 15% ROI over a 3-year period.
The period Sep-1999 thru Aug-2002 saw Lingam as an equity-partner in a startup company Ficom Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd. During the prior 2-year period from Oct-1998 thru Aug-1999 Lingam was a equity-partner in Interfax Communication Management Pte Ltd, a pioneer startup firm providing low-cost high-quality international fax services via the internet using FoIP technology. After a year of operation, the business became unsustainable and the company was eventually wound down.

His roles were wide-ranging including Section Manager (Paging Sales & Distribution Systems), Business Analyst (Order Processing Solutions), Order Administration Manager, Telecoms Sales Engineer and initially Telecoms Systems Engineer.
